How to get the most value out of your Gartner Subscription

Gartner receives between 250,000 and 300,000 inquiries per year from end-user clients. There is SO much information and data here for you to use.

How are you best extracting value from these conversations?

If you have a Gartner seat, you should be scheduling inquiries at least 2 times a month, conducting briefings at least once a quarter, reading their research daily, attending webinars & events, and reviewing their quarterly Inquiry Analytics reports: IT End-User Topic and Vendor Mind Share. You can also quote Gartner in marketing materials (PR, blogs, customer decks, internal documents, strategy documents, partner marketing materials, etc.).

You can also take advantage of "how to" from a marketing, sales, and product management perspective. Gartner can provide information on how to (for example) create and optimize a product-led or hybrid GTM approach, create and use interactive demos, implement product analytics to help drive renewals and reduce churn, etc.

I love inquiries. There are so many different types, from messaging testing to high level market trends, to specific product launch feedback. Share the love, and bring other people from your organization into the conversations. This will not only help you engage more frequently with analysts, it will also help you foster internal AR advocates.
